Ya, didn’t even think about that…was too worried about the potential implications for us!

The other interesting part of the way the bill is worded, it could be construed that at some point, everyone will have to be a member of the “community-based” organization to own/fly any airborne RC vehicle, regardless if they fly at a club, park, private land, etc..

Its interesting that the bill didn’t define a lower size limit to exclude yard toys, but I suppose they will defer that to AMA, or leave toys and golf balls in limbo.

Yes, they actually did that with the DX8, and the new DX7s, DX6i, and DX10…much safer, especially when in a large fun fly type environment.

I still want the JR 11X, but if this radio turns out really good, then I may have to consider it.

Looks like Spectrum has added frequency hopping with DSMX, sort of like FASST.

Anyone interested in participating in this event should get with me soon. I have to make a decision as to how many tables we need and how the logistics are going work.

As a club, NCRCM, isn’t “officially” participating, as there really isn’t much for the club to sell. So, we are attending the swap meet as individuals selling stuff.

I only have a couple items to sell, so I’m not really going with the intent of being the primary sales leader, but rather a helper to those who are. So far, Gary Cox, and Matthew Bingenheimer have tentatively confirmed that they would be attending as active sellers…both have a rather large inventory of items to sell!

I have a 12′ enclosed trailer that I’ll be hauling over to the swap meet on the day of the meet. Between Matt’s stuff, my couple items, and possibly some of Gary’s stuff, I’m not sure how much room there will be left in my trailer, but I’ll entertain the idea of taking club property, as well as member’s items, to the swap meet and sell the items for you.

If you’re interested in this, please get w/me soon as we are less than two months away!

The warbird is a .46 size World Models P-40 Warhawk in RAF livery.

The engine is an older “redhead” Tiger Shark TS-40, .40 size, with a BCM side discharge “Pitts” muffler…both engine and muff appear as never been ran.
