The North Coast RC Modelers club was saddened by the loss of a founding club member, Gary Cox on April 5, 2018. Gary was one of the original members who helped found our club in the early 1980’s and he remained an active participant in the hobby until his passing. He was an early adopter of RC technologies, being one of the first to try newly introduced improvements such as aerial photography systems, electric brushless motors, lithium batteries, newer radio systems, quad rotors and RC helicopters. Gary helped many people to get started in the hobby and is missed by those that knew him.
