RC Flying Model Exhibition Nov 26,2016 in Seattle
The Lake Sawyer Hawks RC club is sponsoring a model exhibition where RC modelers will show off their aircraft. They have invited NCRCM club members to participate. Details are in this flyer .
During our Sept 12th meeting we decided to wait until next summer before installing the second runway curtain. The club authorized purchase of material for replacing one of the startup stands, as well as materials for the sign installation and the purchase of additional rubber stall mats. Other topics of discussion included toilet maintenance, financial report, and new members. Matt Bingenhiemer brought his 500 helicopter and a hex-drone to the Nov meeting to see if anyone wanted to buy it from him, contact him if you are interested.
Work Party on Saturday October 1st, 10:00AM
We need help getting the toilet ready for winter so we are having a work-party day on Oct 1st, right after early morning flights. Come help us if possible. We will repair the toilet’s stairs, winterize its flusher pump, and, tow it to a state park to empty its holding tank. Also, we will install new sign posts and whatever other airfield chores we have time for. Update: The toilet was towed to Barview County Park, dumped, and then cleaned up by Stuart and Pete. The water flush pump is winterized and needs a little work so just use the jugs of clean water along the wall for flushing.
Welcome new club member Ron Mayle
Ron is a new member of our club. He relocated from Hacienda Heights Ca to Bay City in July. He only started flying last April and says he is having a lot of fun. Here is a photo of Ron and his grandson Joey. (click image to make it larger)
